Buku ini membahas permasalahan-permasalahan profesi Akuntan Publik di Indonesia terkait dengan pemberlakuan Undang-Undang Nomor 5 Tahun 2011 Tentang Akuntan Publik (UU Akuntan Publik). Pembahasan buku ini difokuskan pada implikasi pemberlakuan UU Akuntan Publik terhadap independensi dan peranan profesi tersebut dalam mendukung implementasi GCG di Indonesia. Buku ini merupakan suatu kritik terhadap UU Akuntan Publik yang telah diberlakukan pada tahun 2011.

Profesi guru di Indonesia telah mengalami perubahan besar dengan peraturan khusus mengenai Pendidikan dan sertifikasi profesi sampai peningkatan kesejahteraan, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas profesionalisme guru, yang sayangnya dalam implementasinya berjalan tidak mulus.
